How to set up a CRON job?

CRON is an automated tool that triggers scheduled operations at a set time. For the PShowFeeder module, CRON is necessary in order to automatically generate an XML file with current product data from your store.

The CRON job configuration may look different depending on the server admin panel you use. You will find the links and parameters you need to provide to CRON in the last step of your XML feed configuration:




Set up the CRON configuration found in the module based on the instructions found in your server's admin panel. A useful tool for building a CRON schedule is the CRONTAB tool. E.g. to run the CRON task daily at 1 AM use: https://crontab.guru/#0_1_*_*_*
